Other Positions

While the positions listed above are what we currently have open, we're always looking for the right people to join our team. Below are roles that aren't actively open right now, but play a critical part in how we operate. If you think you'd be a great fit, send us your resume and let's talk.

Guest & Operations Specialist

This is the connective tissue of our operation — managing guest relationships, keeping reservations running smoothly, and jumping in wherever the team needs it. We're looking for someone organized, calm under pressure, and excited to grow with a small team that wears a lot of hats.

Nauset Rental is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

General Manager

Full Time • Brewster, MA • (Hybrid Cape Cod-based) • $80,000-$100,000

About the Role

Nauset Rental is looking for a General Manager to run the day-to-day — lead the team, own our processes, and drive execution so we can grow.

This is a leadership role with real authority. You’ll run our team, oversee owner relationships and escalations, install our processes (AI at the forefront), and make sure the business engines are humming. If you want to make a big impact by running the show, this is the seat.

Our office is in Brewster. Schedules shift in-season with a degree of weekend and holiday availability is expected during the summer. This is a leadership role with significant responsibility and autonomy. While core working days will be scheduled, this position requires flexibility and availability for urgent operational matters as they arise. You'll have the freedom to manage your time effectively while ensuring seamless operations.

Where We're Going

We’re targeting 40% year-over-year revenue growth, becoming the go-to vacation rental manager for high-end and luxury homes on Cape Cod. Once we own that niche, growth continues via other verticals and / or regions.

AI is going to reshape this industry, and we plan to be at the forefront. We're using it to automate the not-fun parts of running a vacation rental company so the team can focus on the fun stuff — delighting guests, strong partnerships with homeowners, and delivering the high-touch service luxury demands. Deploying AI across our operation is a huge part of this seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the team: Directly managing and leading their professional growth, goals, performance and roles & responsibilities.
  • Build the org chart and make sure the right people are in place to execute on the broader strategy. Handle the recruitment engine and own a successful training and onboarding program.
  • Own our SOPs end-to-end: make sure they’re documented, improved, accessible, and consistently followed.
  • Oversee quality assurance in our reservation & guest services team, processes, and performance.
  • Be a primary contact for owner relationships and escalations.
  • Drive AI adoption across the team. As we build the AI strategy and tools, you build them into our SOPs, train the team, make sure adoption actually sticks, and keep tools tuned and improving as we learn. Surface new opportunities as you spot them.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in a senior operating role at a small or mid-sized business — Director of Operations, GM, VP of Operations, or similar. You’ve reported to a founder, CEO, COO, or President before, and that relationship lasted.
  • A track record of leading and developing leaders, not just doers. You can name people you’ve grown into bigger seats
  • You’ve held a team together through a high-volume industry or season — summer resort, holiday-heavy retailer, hospitality operation, tax-season firm — and can talk specifically about how you kept quality high and burnout low.
  • An implementer, not a strategist. You take a clear plan and drive the team to execute it. Process discipline is your love language.
  • A builder. Comfortable walking into a small team with gaps and constructing the management layer yourself
  • Tech-fluent enough to lead a team through system migrations and AI rollouts without flinching. Real curiosity about AI as an operating tool.
  • Already on Cape Cod, or able to get yourself here year-round.
  • A GSD mindset. You take ownership, finish what you start, and don’t wait to be told twice
  • You're energized by building inside a small business with a clear path to major growth

Compensation & Benefits

  • $80,000–$100,000 base salary, based on experience
  • Generous performance bonus, tied to outcomes we agree on annually. A substantial upside compensation component for someone who comes in for the long term, commits, and drives growth through strong leadership and clean implementation
  • 401(k) with 3% company match
  • Health / Wellness reimbursement
  • 3 weeks PTO. Paid holidays.
  • Hybrid schedule as seasonal schedules permit.
We hire for the long term. For the right person, this seat grows with the company as we grow.

How to Apply

Email [email protected] with your résumé and a note about yourself. Tell us why this seat, why this business, why now. Bonus points for specifics: a time you took over a messy operation and made it hum, a process you built that outlasted your departure, or a team member you developed into a bigger seat.
