Client Partner

Client Partner, Nauset Rental

Nauset Rental is seeking a dedicated and skilled Client Partner to join our growing team. We are looking for a high energy individual who can quickly learn and take over key areas of responsibility as we expand. Specifically this means managing client relations for a portfolio of properties in addition to working alongside management to learn the core elements of the business and “rolling up your sleeves” to help with various aspects of our operations. We're looking for someone energized to advance their career in a management role, overseeing the many moving parts of the vacation rental industry.

Client Partner Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Become the expert on a portfolio of properties under our management. Act as the primary point of contact for those property owners, building and maintaining strong relationships and overseeing their onboarding into the Nauset Rental Partnership.

  • Utilize knowledge in real estate and finances to oversee your portfolio of properties and assist owners in optimizing their investments.

  • Conduct regular communication with owners to address their needs, concerns, and inquiries, and provide them with regular updates on rental performance, guest feedback, and property maintenance.

  • Focus on relationship development and maintenance, achieving high level client retention.

Portfolio Success

  • Develop and execute strategies to optimize rental revenue and occupancy rates with guidance from the management team (revenue management training will be provided)

  • Conduct market research to assess rental rates, competitor analysis, and demand trends and implement dynamic pricing strategies.

  • Monitor and manage bookings, cancellations, and last-minute availability to maximize occupancy.

  • Work with homeowners to improve their rental property by providing suggestions for best possible performance and return on investments. Potential for off-season project management.

Stay Management & Reservations:

  • Conduct pre-season and periodic property inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and guest satisfaction.

  • Assist with stay management “in-season”, which may include checking / staging properties, issue management and troubleshooting, guest communications, and coordinating with vendors and stay management teams to ensure smooth in-season operations.

  • Address high level guest inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Learn the reservations process and jump in as needed.

  • Additional responsibilities: Depending on strengths and interests of the individual, the Client Partner will also spend time on various aspects of vacation rental management which could include, but is not limited to: business development, guest relations, operations, improvement / investment advising, project management, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in client management / customer service.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with property owners and guests.

  • Self-motivated and self-sufficient, while having the willingness to seek guidance and direction as needed. Ability to handle uncertainty.

  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Previous revenue management experience is not required, but is beneficial. However, the right individual must be willing and comfortable navigating tools like google sheets, excel and project management tools.

  • Willingness to take a hands-on approach during the summer season.

Joining Nauset Rental as a Client Partner offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment on Cape Cod. Additional perks include:

  • Opportunity to become a leader in the company for the right high-caliber, high-energy person.

  • Work / Life Balance. We are not a “9 to 5” company. We often head out for midday surf sessions or a hike, and hop online at night for an hour.

  • Investment in you through continuing education, industry learning opportunities, and career development goals.

  • Working with a tight-knit team, and with a tech-forward LOCAL company that is here for the long haul and believes in investing in its people.

  • Competitive pay and bonus program / profit sharing and benefits.

Candidates must currently live on Cape Cod or already have plans to relocate here with secured housing. A valid drivers license and reliable vehicle is required, as is availability to work Saturdays and rotating on-call schedule “in-season”. Competitive compensation package with quick growth for the right individual. 401k match plan.

If this sounds like the job for you, please submit your resume and letter of interest detailing your relevant experience and why you are the ideal candidate for this role to [email protected]

Summer Staging Team Members - Seasonal, Part-time

Seeking Lower / Outer Cape Saturday Staging Staff for Summer Season
Nauset Rental is a boutique rental management company based on Cape Cod. We focus on the higher end of the rental market with our typical home being valued at over $1M. We enjoy having fun as a team and getting to see unique parts of the Cape, including private properties with spectacular vistas inaccessible to the public. This job involves lots of visits to different properties, so if you don't enjoy being behind a desk or a counter and like being out and about, this job might be for you!

Great position for someone looking for some extra hours at good wages ($20/hr+ on Saturdays and generous end-of-season bonus) this summer! Potential for additional hours during the week if interested.

Typical Duties:

  • Perform quality checks on vacation rental properties – Document any issues in the stay management application using smartphone camera, our checklists, etc.

  • Leave welcome gifts

  • Stage the property after the cleaners - we'll train you but essentially it's all the little things that wow a guest on their arrival.

  • Issue resolution - attention to detail and noticing a problem and working with guidance from the manager to resolve before incoming guests arrive.

  • Complete various errands as needed – i.e. running to store for sheets, toasters, replacing beach umbrella if something breaks

  • A team player attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.

Requirements
Availability to work on all Saturdays from 9 am to 4 pm (July and August a must, May, June, September preferred too). We can be flexible based on applicants' needs (i.e.  if you need to get to a night restaurant shift). Driver’s license and reliable vehicle.. Must be able to comfortably lift 40 lbs.

Email us at [email protected] or call 774-316-6287 to be considered!
