Ideal location in Riverbay Estates, a quiet neighborhood near Pleasant Bay, Goose Pond, Schoolhouse Pond, and East Harwich center for groceries and other essentials. Less than 10 minutes to Chatham center! Enjoy use of two small ponds in the Riverbay neighborhood - Trout Pond and Pickerel Pond - for kayaking and leisurely freshwater fishing. The quiet tree-lined streets are perfect for walking, biking, running - very safe for children and dogs. There are also several conservation trails just outside the neighborhood for quiet nature walks. 

This beautiful property is well-appointed for groups and families up to 10 guests, with plenty of space inside and out to enjoy. Perfect for family reunions,multiple families or bridal parties or just a few friends gathering for the week on the Cape. The home has been thoughtfully designed with the majority of the living space on the first floor, including a primary suite, laundry room, and open living/dining room. Enjoy movies on the flat screen Smart TV - plenty of room for everyone on the large sectional sofa!

The adjacent beautiful gourmet kitchen is complete with new stainless steel appliances, including 6 burner gas stove and dishwasher. There is plenty of seating between the large granite island and custom-built dining room table for everyone to gather around and enjoy meals together. 

The private backyard is easily accessed through doors off of the living room, and features both a deck and a patio with multiple outdoor seating areas. Fire pit and gas grill are provided for toasting marshmallows and dining al fresco. The back and front yard both have mature lawn and landscaping, with plenty of trees and shrubbery to offer privacy. The entire yard is very level and great for children and dogs to run around and play. A newly constructed, fully enclosed outdoor shower is also located in the backyard for rinsing off after the beach. 

For days out exploring, Jackknife Cove on Pleasant Bay is only 3 minutes away and is a great spot for beachcombing and shellfishing, as well as families with young children. No beach sticker required! Only 5 minutes to Schoolhouse Pond or Goose Pond for freshwater swimming as well. Plenty of beach gear included - enjoy use of beach chairs, kids' toys, beach wagon and umbrella. Hardings Beach on Nantucket Sound is only 10 minutes down the road, and many shops and restaurants are also in close range. Popular Hangar B Eatery is just a 4 minute drive down the road for breakfast and downtown Chatham is only a 7 minute drive. Other sightseeing including Chatham Pier, golf courses, and Cape Cod Rail Trail are easily within reach, just minutes from the house. 

** Please note: The owner requires weekly cleanings. Should you book a multi-week stay, they will be in touch prior to your arrival to schedule a mid-stay cleaning. The cleaning fee with be applied per week that you stay in the home and added to your resevation upon booking.**

***Owners welcome 1 approved low-impact adult dog - no puppies - TENANT must reach out to Nauset Rental with dog details for approval either before making reservation or within 48 hours of submitting online reservation. We will need to know the following information:
*Any shedding?
*Any issues with accidents - urination or throwing up?
*Any issues with chewing furnishings?
*Barking while unattended or while attended?
*Does your dog receive flea and tick preventative?
*Are you confident you can leave property with no sign of your dog when you check out?
*Do you accept full responsibility for the behavior and impact of the dog in your group during your stay?
