Welcome to our charming Sea Captain's home, nestled on the ocean side of Wellfleet's Cahoon Hollow Road. This recently renovated 5 bedroom home offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern amenities to make your stay comfortable and memorable.
Originally built in 1830 for a Sea Captain and later transformed into a bed and breakfast in 1999, this house has been lovingly restored and updated for you and your family to enjoy. You'll love the spacious living room and dining area with beautiful wide plank floors, perfect for gathering together and making lasting memories.
The house features many wonderful amenities, including a gorgeous newly renovated kitchen, 'beadboard' bathroom with modern fixtures, a cozy den for reading or remote work with high-speed wifi, and all 5 bedrooms upstairs have premium beds with fresh pillows. You'll also find a claw foot tub in the upstairs bathroom and an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
With a centralized location, this home is an ideal base for exploring Wellfleet's best beaches, fresh water ponds, and charming town center. Great Pond is just 1.1 mile away- A brisk 20 minute walk, or 3 minute drive! Cahoon Hollow Beach is only 1.9 miles away, and easily accessible by bike!
Take a short walk over Uncle Tim's Bridge to reach Wellfleet Center and enjoy its many restaurants, art galleries, and theaters.

*Barking while unattended or while attended?
*Does your dog receive flea and tick preventative?
*Are you confident you can leave property with no sign of your dog when you check out?
*Do you accept full responsibility for the behavior and impact of dogs in your group during your stay?

We absolutely loved our stay at 20 Cedardown Way and look forward to returning next year(2023). The house oozes old world charm while having all the modern amenities one could ask for. It comfortably allows for many guests while giving everyone their own space. The common areas are plentiful and large for group gatherings. The yard is private and has great outdoor seating and a firepit. The location is superb! just off Route 6 but with no highway noise, one can walk to great pond (20 minutes) or into town(15 minutes). Its a less than a 10 minute walk to PJ's(incredible classic cape fish shack). One can sense the love and care that the family, who has owned this property for multiple generations, has invested in this house. We have rented in Wellfleet for over 25 years and 20 Cedardown is easily one of the best properties we have ever stayed in.
