In addition to the backyard views of Rachel's Cove, there is also a beautiful vista of Nauset outer beach from across the street. An easy 15 minute stroll around the peninsula offers stunning views of Town Cove, Fort Hill, Coast Guard Lighthouse and the Atlantic Ocean. You will also have access to the private Snow Point Association beach, a small sandy landing on Town Cove. Enjoy utmost privacy in the neighborhood and in the yard itself. Set on conservation land, the house is surrounded by trees with no direct views of neighbors.

Nauset Beach is 3 miles/under 10 minutes by car. You can also bike to the beach via back roads in about 15-20 minutes. Skaket Beach on the bayside is just over 4 miles/10-15 minutes by car. Freshwater swimming at Crystal Lake, Pilgrim Lake and Nickerson State Park are all within a 10-15 minute drive. The water view, deck, Cove access, proximity to town, option of A/C if we needed it. Also the yard was so fun for two boys to play in and the bird activity was amazing. We also really liked the houses mix of that classic Cape Cod feeling with updated furnishings. The floors were beautiful!

I was fortunate to stay here for a long weekend in the fall. The house and its setting were utterly charming beginning with the striking blue front door, the raised wood paneling in the den, and the beamed ceilings in the living area. The captivating view from the living area offers a saltwater cove, vegetation and wildlife. The house is bright with ample daylight. It is comfortable and tastefully furnished. The bed was comfortable and the house was warm. We enjoyed walks in the neighborhood and drove to the beach although it was too cold to swim. The location was convenient allowing us to explore the Cape in every direction. Orleans offered some of the best croissants this side of the Atlantic. It is what I imagined a vacation at the Cape to be and I look forward to a return trip.

Our family of four (kids 8, 6) and my in-laws spent Christmas 2019 at this beautiful house. It was my first visit to Cape Cod and it was delightful! The house has all the charm and features I would expect as well as all of the modern conveniences we all need (WiFi). The views are breathtaking and the access to the Association beach made for some lovely afternoon walks around the peninsula with views of the National Seashore and Atlantic Ocean. The location of the house was totally private and we woke each morning to see a family of ducks and other birds making their way across Rachel's Cove. The furnishings are perfectly appointed to the space, making every spot in the house a 'good seat.' The bedrooms are comfortable, each with an individual bathroom and ample space to unpack and settle in. It felt like we were visiting a family's well-kept home. The kitchen is spacious, plenty of room for someone to assist with dinner or just keep company with the one doing the cooking. It also has a darling chandelier that I love. The entire house is filled with natural light during the day, and that combined with the views gives the feeling of nearly being outdoors. We loved our visit and plan to return to Orleans, and this house in the future!
